I can come on the 9th. What time? The Farrell's is at 1625 Watt Ave., Sacramento, CA 95864.  They get very busy, best to call or go online and make a resveration for a party. Ph. 916-972-8000

Sylviar....I think a Christmas card drive would be an easy project to take on.  Cards are easy to come by, you can get lots of people involved.

Is you sailor deployed or at GL?

Anyone interested in an Meet and Greet for Nov 9th?  How about going to Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor on Arden way?  Let me know if any of you are interested.

sylviar14....We have done a number of different charitible events over the years.  It is up to the individual to champion a cause.  I happen to like to sew, so I always do the pillowcase project.  NevadaSierra usually will do the local food bank.  In years past have done the toys for tots.

As I have told the others, if you plan it we will come. Let us know what interest your interest lay?

Welcome to our newbees. This is a great place to be.

We have a new to us baby in our house. Her name is Raisin - she is a wire haired fox terrier - seven years old. We became her forever family on 10-30. When I got home from work on Sunday, she had gotten out of the yard around 2:45 p.m. - she was found, and brought home at 7:45 a.m. on Monday. Needless to say, I didn't sleep well at all - it has taken me two days to recover - can't do all nighter's anymore.

So, what is worse - the human or animal kids being out all night???

Jody, if that is your biggest problem I have to say you have a pretty good life.

Ok, I am frustrated!!! Working on a tree skirt for a Christmas gift for my daughter in law. Had do to use all the fabric I hand for the backing. Now I don't have enough fabric for the binding. I have been on line: eBay, Amazon and the maker's site. Rrrrrrr now I am going to have to try and match the color to the fabric I used. Of course I purchased the fabric a couple of years ago. Ok I am off my soap box now.
