Leslie,
Here on Navy For Moms we have a San Francisco Bay Area Navy Families group (clickable link). It is a closed group (probably reason you couldn't find us. We have a directory of members who are in the Santa Rosa, Marin generally north of San Francisco area. We have 5 members from Sebastopol. Every year the group gets together and watch the Veterans Day Parade in Petaluma. Many members recently got together in San Jose for lunch. I encourage you to join as many groups as you have time for. There are many great families throughout the Northern Cal - Bay Area. Good luck.

Hi All,
I am a new Navy mom, my son swore in on July 9,2015 and leaves for boot camp in 53 days. I live in Placerville. I can't believe how fast time has flown by. Its crazy to think of all the emotions that I am having. But the number one emotion I am feeling is how proud of him I am. And he is so determined to go in there and give it his all and then some. He has an 11 yr old brother who I think is having a hard time with it and just doesn't want to tell us so I am dealing with that as well. But I keep telling myself I got this :) Anyways just wanted to introduce myself to other local moms out there :)
sylviar14 - yep! there it is...I'll sign up. Thank you!
What's the name of the group?
Hi everyone - looks like maybe no one has posted here recently? I live in Auburn and my daughter left for boot camp on March 14 and graduates on May 6. Would love to connect with local Navy moms!
