Hey ladies, I think I can make it on Saturday.  I will be going to see my mom (near Dewey and Greenback) anyway and she's (kinda) right around the corner from the Mirabelle.  Hope to see you. (look for me because I won't recognize you until I'm right up to you).

For those of you that are new to the group when we are talking about pillowcases and fabirc we are talking about a service project we took on.

Last year several of us volunteered to make pillowcases for the USS Lincoln. The Lincoln is a aircraft carrier that was deployed over Christmas. For many of the sailors on ship the pillowcases we sent were their only Christmas gifts.

This year I got rangled into doing pillowcases for my son's ship, the madien vogage of the USS Green Bay.

Alaina is my partner in crime when it comes to shopping for fabric and cutting the cases out.

The lovely Linda's (LZ27 and Linda from Lincoln) are our loyal sidekicks.  Birdie has joined us and is now one of the case pack.

Ok, that's my story and I am sticking to it.

Alaina...Yes I know what you mean about seeing spot.  I had the same problem when we make those pillowcases with the little dice on them.

I purchased some more red for the sashes.

I won't buy any more fabric (be still LZ) until you know how many cases you cut out, then I will know how much fabric to purchase for the sashes.
