FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Pot lucks I can handle but NOT sewing!!!! And especcially not ironing!!!!

Oh Judy ...DON"T ASK!!  They are crazy women and I don't want to see you get sucked into their madness.  You need to arm yourself with calmness and just ignore them, I would hate to see another (including me) get infected by their mission.  You know they are known to sew till the cows come home and do pot lucks, and laugh, and  just be there for each other.  You can spot them by the satisfaction of a job well done written all over their faces!   If you elect to join in I will support you.  It will be nice to meet you on Sat.

Good morning Nor Cal Moms and Dads, Today is my baby's birthday she is 15 years old!

I already told her she is not allowed to join the miltary. She said not to worry  casue she won't. Good. I'm not as brave as some of you. I love my country but only willing to give one child.

Alaina....I got all my fabric washed, iron, and cut.  My count is 35 ready to sew.  25 need sashes or bodies,

 

LZ27 so you know what this means!  I have to go to the fabric store!!!

I would love to meet you all at Mirabella's Saturday, but my hubby has willingly offered to take me to the ocean, can't say no. Looking forward to the next M&G, had so much fun meeting everyone at the last one. Welcome, Judy, you will love these ladies! Hope to meet you someday soon as well.
