Susan, Look above the calender, there are 2 M&Gs in August. One in San Ramon and one in Merced. I have yours in September penciled in on my calendar already.

Oh my goodness you girls are BUSY. Sounds like an anniversary celebration is in order - or maybe just a party. Tellmama - you have got it now!
I'm off this weekend to Reno for our Mission Education Event. I've been tired with all the activities - but it is good work.
Our sailor and his family will be visiting CA the end of August/first part of September. They will be with us over Labor Day weekend for the annual family reunion at Topaz Lake. We are looking forward to it.
Also gives me time to reaggange furniture (set up a bed in the office room) and clean this house. That's in my spare time. Like I have any of that :-}
Is there a M&G in August??? Maybe I can connect with all of you then - before we are in the Constution Day parade in Nevada City. Anybody thinking of coming up? Last year we didn't walk with the Blue Star Mom's because someone didn't want to. This year we are - and it will be awesome. I'm just trying to get a feel for how many can come so that I can let them know at the next meeting. Thanks, N4M hugs to all, Susan

For an additional fee, we throw in the dress (quilted or unquilted?). Don't worry about getting the bride and groom to the W Coast, we have a traveling crew ready to go - a caravan of RVs headed by Sandy H (who has also been MIA). We have many talented people who have been lurkilooing.

Heavens to Mergatroid, you guys crack me up. I'll get out my checkbook and set you guys to the task of planning a wedding. I don't stand a chance. The wine, the food, the cake, all done. I can concentrate on sewing the wedding dress, and all we have to do is get the bride and groom to the West Coast. Course, I don't think they'd go for your choice of music, and the tattoo thing might be a problem 'cause the new son in law is covered with them. Gotta love this new generation that just loves to put ink on their skin. Not a fan at all, but he's a total love bug and my daughter loves him with a big old chunk of her very large heart, so I can't complain! Thanks for your well wishes, Everyone! You're a great bunch. She didn't get the best of the best because she didn't know who the commander of the forces were in Afghanistan, but at least she was nominated, and she knows the answer now! Mama clued her in. Talk to you guys soon, and I promise I won't wait so long to post next time.

I can't answer right now. My phone is ringing off the hook with orders. Paymaster and I have a new joint venture, it appears: company name: The Lackluster Event Coordinators CAT1 - was on phone with client when you called. Talk to you later.

Bea....Let us not forget:

The food would be excellent
The food would have a wonderful presentation
Excellant wine would be served, we would have to delegated that to Quiltlady to source out for us.
The flowers would be amazing
The cake would be our focal point in the room

And last but not least the Bride and Groom would be happy and glowing!

Hey Bee, that sounds pretty good to me, too bad I'm already married!!! Hmmm, neither of kids are though so can I put in my request now just in case?? LOL

Paymaster, if you and I organize a wedding:
1. Everyone will have their marching orders.
2. Everything will be on time.
3. No going over budget.
4. No slam dancing, only foxtrot (maybe the waltz)
5. The tables must be properly set with linen and silver.
6. No hip hop. Classical or show tunes are acceptable. Maybe soft jazz.
7. No black lipstick for women or black finger nail polish. Soft pastels please.
8. Everyone will be properly dressed: men in suits/uniforms, women in dresses (hemline no more than 3" above the knee). No baggy, saggy pants, no tattoos showing, no pierced rings anywhere showing (except ear rings), no cleavage.

IT WILL BE ONE DULL WEDDING!

But Paymaster and I are gamed. If you are willing, we are willing.
