Hannahsmom,
See your status box on the upper right? Here is where you see if you have any private messages from friends (INBOX), if you have any friend request (Friends) and Setting (where to go to change stuff). Clicking on Settings will take you to your Profile page. Next to "Username" you'll see your current screen name. Just change this to Hannahsmom. You can also upload photo (or any graphic) as long it's jpg format. When done, be sure to click save on bottom. If you are getting too many email notifications, then click Email after changing you screen name and reset your notifications - see above explanation. Regards. Bee

Hi all,
My daughter is going to MA school on San Antonio - right now she's on a medical hold for a month in RTC. I'm under the impression that it's primarily a "boy's club," so I think that qualifies as GG Power? She is a former ice skater and ballet dancer, so I'm not really sure where the toting a gun thing came from - lol......also, I'm hoping to change my screen name from hlc to hannahsmom - can that be done? Thanks for the support!!!

Happy Memorial Day 2010

Have a safe Memorial Day. Add CAT1's daughter to the GG Power group. Quiltlady and I will be invading one of the Sac meet and greets. Haven't decided on which one yet. LOL. We expect you all to come to see us too. Is there a big meeting place in Fairfleld, Concord (somewhere in East Bay) for a big wing ding for all of us? Let's put in on the calendar for next year.

Welcome Hic, I also have a daughter who PIR at age 24. She is now 25 in A school at GL. Just got her FC rating badge yesterday. Go Girl Power! Her name is Chrissy. It is hard having them so far form home, she called me yesterday said she was homesick and wanted some of my homemade Pumpkin-walnut bread.

You have come to the right place. See the calendar above and links to RSVP for the events (current ones have links). This group has had 2 casual meet and greet - one in April and one in May. I know it's a bit of a drive but we have a meet and greet in Healdsburg next Sunday. We are driving up from Santa Clara County.
Welcome to the group. You'll find yourself right at home very soon.

Hi all,
I'm a brand new Navy mom (still in the crying-all-the-time stage.) My daughter (24) just graduated from boot camp and although I'm proud of her decision to join, I miss her like crazy!! I'm interested in attending some of the meet and greets, to put names and faces together and I'm also looking forward to the support from moms who really understand what it's like to have a child so far away from home!
