NorCal gals,
I have not heard from Alaina. Kinda weird. Any of you have her phone number? I have sent her a number of pms. Hmmm. She was going to do a BBQ at the park on July 10. Please keep this date in mind for the July meet and greet.

Hey all - Happy belated birthday Vicky. Sorry I missed your specail day. WOW, I'm very busy being 'home alone'. Everything that can is breaking (the computer mouse, the copier/fax/printer, the remote control for the TV). Okay, I miss him - but am sure glad to have the time to deep clean.
SUNSHINE YEA - please remember to light your candles for our vets on Monday. Blessings to all - be safe, Susan
P.S. Are we getting together in June???

I love to have an orange tiger kitty. But, Sorry I can't have a cat in my apartment unless I pay a $850 pet deposit. Which I can't afford.
I hope you all have a nice Memorial day weekend, and take a moment to honor all of our fallen heroes.

Well, they're cute, but I'm a dog person.

I love cats and dogs. I had my gallbladder taken out in 1997, I developed asthma after my hospital stay. I am reduced to looking longingly at my friends' dogs and cats.

SHARON! I was thinking BHappy!
CAT1, Quiltlady and I have had some long discussions about this. She and I will be getting together soon to go over Fleet Week details. Will report back. If anyone has specific ideas or other ideas ???

Do you think we should do a special meet and greet next year on Memorial Day - some volunteer effort - lunch at a VA hospital, host a special luncheon for local vets? Quiltlady and I are thinking that we should make one of the meet & greets every 3 months a send off luncheon for new recruits. We thoroughly enjoyed our meet and greets but we both would like to do more for the men/women who are going to be serving or have served. Your thoughts?
