Hi Ginger, Tee, Susan, Paula, Robyn and Vicky. Who is Sharon? Did I missed a new member? Paula, my sailor went to the Jazz Camp in UOP for a number of years, they talked about the Jazz Festival in Sac. We are working this weekend; otherwise, we come out, played some golf and stop by the train museum. We like to stay at the hotel right across from Old Town.

Robyn and Sharon, didn't mean to skip your post. My prayer everyday is that all of our soldiers serving our country come home safely and soon to us. My heart reaches back to mothers of the past who lost so much during war and of course to those going through it now. They are heros too.

Are we ever going to get spring weather in Cali? Did I alreayd say that? "Here comes the sun, here comes the sun, dadundada, here comes the sun and I say it's all right." (wishful thinking)

Happy Memorial Day everyone. What a special gift we have to live in this country. My most heartfelt thanks to each of your sailors - and of course those who have dedicated and given their all for us to be the greatest country in our world.
Memories get us through when we are feeling the separation of their lives and ours. Keep your memories strong and light a candle for each one on Monday. Blessings, Susan

My sailor told me he was getting his "Tom Cruz" today, aka flight suit for Aircrew. I can't wait to see him in it, heehee

Then I want him to stay safe on the ground! Guess that's not going to happen.

Hi Donna D., Are we still on for a Nor. Cal packing party? Where and when? I got another Mom who wants to join us, her name is Vickie.
Today is Chrissy, 1st Navy Anniversary. I was thinking it was tomorrow but on FB she said today. She said good-bye to her son on May 26, 2009, then the recruiter took her to a hotel, then she fly out to GL on May 27, 2009. She is still in GL! lol! I think she is getting tired of that place. She said it is humid there and she doesn't like the Midwest weather, poor Cali girl.
