Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Good morning Nor. Cal. Moms and Dads, Chrissy is studying hard for ATT phase 2. It is not like college, much harder, they throw alot at this kids in a short time. I'm praying she will retain enough to pass her finals. I'm not worried about the PT, she is good shape and should pass that. I wish I could go to the A school graduation, I do love ceremonies. But she told me it is no a big deal. Still, I'm her Mom and I am proud of her. I wish I could afford to go. Hopefully she will get San Deigo for C school that is much closer!

Thanks, this is a small goal towards a bigger goal. She started the last part of ATT classes last night, then pass a PT test, Pass her security clearance, then get a promotion. We will celebrate when she gets the promotion to E-4. Then on to C school. FCs have alot of training. I hope everyone has a great weekend and that you hear from your sailors. Navy Huggs!!!

YIPEE - - Paula you are hee. Like the new picture. Wow, they all change so much so fast.
I'm off to Greenville - this is VERY Northern California (Plumas County) for today and maybe tomorrow. My church lady stuff.
The husband is off today to take his parent's to Phoenix for two weeks.
What will I do - 'home alone'??? What to do?? UMMM - lots of thoughts there - and a huge list. Enjoy the weekend. ~~Susan
