Ariel....If you are the GF you will have different resources, mainly your family and friends along with your Navy Mom's here. This is one of those life test that keep coming along. This is where you test your faith and love. Whether you are a GF, Mom or Wife.

We all deal with it differently, you will have to find what works for you. Just know that you can come to anyone of us for a shoulder to lean on, cry on or yell at when you need it. We'll listen to you and we will give it to you straight.

I think for most of us we just try to stay busy and not dwell on it 24/7 if you do it will drive you crazy. If you work or go to school, you will at least have an outlet to get out of the house. This is a great time to develope a hobby, do volunteer work and make new friends.

Alot of us run on the theory no news is good news.

Stay strong and best wishes

The other young lady at Davis is Meilin. I got them together already. I am putting together a list of young wives/gf in SF Bay Area. There seems to be more in the Bay Area than in the Sac area but I'll go through the NorCal list too.
Hey I am looking for Raylene - the next meet and greet is at her house. Hope she still has it on her calendar.
Hi Everybody.

Welcome Ariel and Eric's Wife to the group. I hope you're finding others in the area.

Eric's Wife - I work with a lady who volunteers at Travis with the family readiness group and would be happy to ask her for contact ideas. Send me a private message/friend request if you'd like.

Ariel - I recall a young lady joining our group last year who was a student at Davis, seems like it would be great to know there's someone on campus who relates with the situation you're going through. Bea -- I remember seeing you conversing online with her a few times. Do you recall?

Best wishes to both of you and your sailors!

Ariel....Welcome to our area. Do you have any family here?

Drop a line anytime you need to help you get through what you are going through. Many of us have been through deployments.

Again welcome.

Hi everyone, just dropping by to post news of the sailor. He's in Pensacola, on hold for Aircrew. He's had quite a few setbacks since leaving for BC last June, but we're hopeful he will class up soon. I don't hear from him often, and I miss him like crazy!
