halee, that's awesome!  I live off Lincoln Way!  I don't have a SR anymore, she PIR'd last week, and so now I have a Sailor!  I'll send you a friend request.  We live so close!

Janai's Mom, We live in Foresthill. My sons went to Placer, as did my husband and I. Do you have a SR ?

Home from a sad trip back east to put my dad to rest with a full Navy military funeral.  The silver lining was I got to see my sailor.  He sent his grandfather with two challenge coins one from OCS and one from his commander.  It was a moving moment for both of us and moments later I experience a Steel Magnolias laugh.  Will have to tell you about it at M & G!  Can't wait to see all of you and get those Navy mom hugs.

Hi halee.  I'm from Placer County!  I live in Auburn and one of my Navy mom friends lives in Meadow Vista!  Do you live near either of us?

Hi ladies! I just got back from a family vacation in Florida that included a visit with our son and a chance to tour his base and ship. His captain did his reenlistment and it was an awesome experience! Can't believe he's already onto his next four years! I hope to make it to the next M&G.

Monica - I'm happy to share info about Elk Grove. We live in a home in a not too great area (just north of EG) that we bought new back in 1990. We lived for about 7 years in a different part of town until the kids made it through HS, and moved back last summer. EG is a great place for families and I'd be happy to share my insights.
