OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Good. Thanks for the head up, Trekkie & Marsha. I will send out a group email to remind people to sign up ASAP. It looks like we'll probably be OK.

QUICK QUESTION.
Right now we have the following meet and greet on schedule.
Jan 10 Redwood City - Naomi
Feb 6 Santa Clara - Peg
Feb 21 Fair Oaks - Jody
Mar 13 San Carlos - Katherine
Mar 28 Fremont - Cindy
April 10 San Jose - Monica
Did I schedule the first one too close to the New Year? We could move Jan 10 to Jan 23 or 24. Take out Feb 6 in Santa Clara. Maybe Peg & Monica can combine on April 10
We only have 4 signed up for next week. I am not sure we want Naomi to go through a lot of effort with just a few attendees. YOUR THOUGHTS?

What if I get all my hippie stuff (tied dyes and love beads - the real thing) out of the boxes in the closet?

Gee, you don't want me to bring my buttoned down, stiff upper lip, New England prep school husband? Are you afraid we'll clear the joint? You could exchange phone numbers by "friending" each other and sending a private email message. First, one of you have to send a Friend request to the other. Once the invitee accepts, you can inbox (upper right hand corner under your name banner), click on compose, select your recipient, type your message and hit send.
