Hello Dixon Mom, I live in Dixon too. Sent you a friend request. My hubby and I were on a tiger cruise on my son's aircraft carrier in July. Give me a call, I sent you my ph# on the friend request.

Hi Kelly, I live in Woodland, just down the road from you. My son is graduating A School tomorrow, he's OS, and will be reporting to the Nimitz after Christmas break. I don't have personal experience with the Tiger Cruise, but if your son at home can go on it I'd say GO FOR IT! From folks I know who have experienced a Tiger cruise, they are a once in a lifetime experience. When is this cruise date, did your son say? Merry Christmas and have a wonderful day.

Ok, Chrissy said no signs at the airport. So Just how big should I make the sign?

I just read back a few pages to catch up. Welcome to new members, I'm loving all the names you come up with! I agree with Alaina, I would love to just hang at the airport and see all the soldiers coming home, mine is included! Bea, I hope you're feeling better! ((HUGS))

jellys mom,
Please join the OCS Graduate Moms group. Under their Discussion Forum, you'll find discussions for different classes. If there isn't one for your son's class, feel free to start one. They have a OCS Survival Manual too. My son is a nuke officer on a sub. He got his dolphins a month ago. If you have a questions that the OCS Graduate moms group can't answer, please private message me and I'll email my son. Bea

My son was also so skinny! And he was always a skinny kid. Isn't it great to see the troops arrive home at the airport - love it!

I agree w/ that Raylene, Chrissy was skinny at PIR. She ate constantly all weekend until Sunday lunch, when she finally said she was full! I ate three pieces of Chicago style pizza and she only ate 2! It was good! Since then I have sent three packages of goodies, she shares them with her roommates.
Have fun w/ your sailor TrekkieDad.
