Welcome Marsha aka Mikes Mom, Everyone here is great. Monica is a little questionable but we still love her! Lol! I hope you can make to a M&G sometime soon. I have been to 2, and they're fun. See summary of events above(discussion forum). It is starting to feel a lot like Christmas. One more week and I will be driving to the Sacramento airport to welcome my sailor home for the holidays!

Good Morning !
I am new to this site but not to the Navy. My daughter joined right after 9-11 , she finished her 5 years and married an officer in the Navy...Lucky girl ! He's a great guy. My son joined and and finished bootcamp Aug of 08 he is a corpsman now deployed in Afghanistan. To say I'm nervousand worried would be an understatement...
I didn't have a site like this when my daughter was in the Navy so I'm grateful to have all of you here with me on this journy and I hope I could be of some help to you all too.
Can't wait to meet you all !

Bea, You are the greatest!! My sailor girl comes home next week for Christmas!!! She finished her ATT classes and is getting paperwork done for the next round of classes. They told her she will be in GL until about June. Her and her ex are still fighting over thier son. Now Navy is saying she can't have her son there because she won't be there much longer. So on to Plan B which is to try and get him after she Finishes A school and finds out where she will be going for C School. I hope and pray there is no blow-up over Christmas. I feel stuck in the middle here.

Hi Ladies, Thanks for your offers of help to our fellow Navy Mom. Her son in Monterey is scheduled for an outpatient procedure on the 14th. Sounds like Monica will be gone and I'm not sure if a check would be possible for anyone else. Thanks again for your offers of help, his mom is in South Carolina and she is VERY happy to know there are moms in the area supporting her.
