I am having a problem with sending private messages (thru N4M) on my computer - so, I haven't been able to pm Jaye Lynn.
THIS IS REGARDING OUR DECEMBER 12 MEET & GREET.
So far, we only have two RSVPs. If we don't get at least 8-10 head counts (no necessarily the same as RSVP), the event should be cancelled or switched to a restaurant. Jaye Lynn, your call on when the deadline should be. Please post comment here and under EVENTS with details.
I am busy with visiting with my sailor.
Naomi, add Jan 10 on EVENTS. Use Cindy's Dec 6 as guide.
I am working on finishing our Master Calendar. We have all 18 dates covered except for the following four :))):
San F/San Mateo: Aug 29 Sun
Marin & All: Oct 2 Sat (waiting on Fleet Week info)
East Bay: Nov 14 Sun
Sacramento: Dec 5 Sun
Got to go. XXOO to all Bea

Cindy, Monica, and Naomi, this is why I belong to Navy for Moms. Supporting each other and our sailors, I'm so touched by this, your willingness to help someone you don't know because we're all moms and know how we'd feel....((big smiley face for you))

Hi Monica,
Thanks Much! I'll send you a friend request so I can send you a note with contact details. Mom's in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and really worried - I'm sure we can all relate to the relief we'd find in another mom checking on our sailors at times like this.

Hello everyone,
I just got a message from a boot camp mom friend of mine whose son is in Monterey at DLI. Apparently he's scheduled for outpatient surgery soon and we're hoping there might be a mom not too far away who would be able to check on him to be sure he's doing okay. I can't think of anyone close to the area, but wonder if any of you know of anyone?

If anyone has the Hallmark Channel, they are advertising a Christmas movie called "The Christmas Card" that was filmed in Nevada City. It's aout a soldier who comes from Afghanistan and recives an annomyous Christmas card. Wish I could get it, it sounds good.

Cindy.....Thank you so much for hosting up today. I really enjoyed myself.

I am always amazed at what I learn about our fellow parents. TrekkieDad I bet you have more things up your shelve other than biking and what you would admit to at the gathering?
