Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Monica, glad that your prayers are being answered.
Unfortunately, I can't make Saturday. Two ladies in and out of the hospital - not good. These are part of the group of my 90 year olds. Also himself (the husband) is participating in the Car Show that is happing in Nevada City, and I have been invited to make an 'appearance'.
We haven't heard from our sailor - - just sending prayers. Take care everyone ~~s~~

I had a rocking good time at the Italian Picnic and Parade this weekend. Saw some old friends and made some new ones. Drank a little too much. lol
Chrissy is on her summer leave she went to see her Dad today and she will be here tomorrow.

Honey's I'm HOME! LOL Thanks for saving up for bail money Monica, we didn't need it this time! Yes, I just got back from a week with 7 of my Navy Mom besties. You meet the best people on N4M's!!!
Monica, a lot of my co-workers live in Elk Grove and they like it. The area was hit by the housing crash, just like everything in Sac, but he should be able to find a nice place at a good price.
