Ho Nor. Cal Moms,
I am home sick today, got a chest cold. Since I have asthma takes me a long time to recover. I am missing all of you @ the Sacramento area M&G, hope you are having fun.
Monica, glad you are back, enjoy the drugs! Lol I'm a 70's girl too.
Yes Raylene, if you like to dance, Zumba is fun. Try it! I lost 29 lbs doing Zumba and eating healthier.

Problem resolved. Here is her entry on the blog.
Donna and Bea - thank you SO MUCH for the help. My daughter, Susan, just checked into her hotel and will be taking a shuttle into the base early tomorrow morning...the hotel front desk said since she's taking the shuttle, she does not need a gate pass. She wanted to call you back, Donna, to thank you, but it is really late and you are probably sleeping. She said she'll give you a call tomorrow and let you know how everything went.

She was able to get a hold of a recruiting officer at the public affairs office who said that once Susan is on base, she will go to the Visitors Center but since her name is not on the access list, she will have to wait until the start of the ceremony when additional seating is determined for the additional guests. It's first-come, first-served so she will be there very early in hopes of getting in!

Fingers crossed they let her in and she can watch her brother graduate! Thank you, again, for all your help!

Good evening everyone. I found this blog below just now and I have pm the individual ladies. If any of you hear from anyone going to tomorrow's PIR (mich, Kathy A, Terri, Debbie Billys Mom, alzmom, Lori and Ryan's mom), let them know that I have pm them about this. It's probably too late to help her but I thought we could be on the alert. She is new to N4M and does not know about our group yet.
Here screen name is susanalacubana
This is a copy and paste of her blog.
My name is Ofelia and my daughter, Susan, is flying out to Chicago tonight to see her brother, Michael, graduate tomorrow. It was initially a surprise since my son did not think anyone would be able to fly out to see him. My daughter has saved up enough money to go but since we never received a graduation packet from him we did not get a gate pass. She is staying at the Courtyard Marriott in Waukegan and would love to be able to meet up with someone before the ceremony who does have a gate pass and wouldn't mind her tagging along. She's a sweet 27 yr old woman flying out from SF. Please email me and I'll give you her phone #. It would mean the world to us! Thank you!

Good morning Nor. Cal. Moms and TrekkieDad,
I think we are all adults here, Monica. But I would keep your posts PG as the Navy does monitor this site, and anything you say could reflect on your sailor. I wish you the best luck in the quiting smoking endeavor, Just remember you are doing it for your health. Exercise is good, it releases naturals endorphins. I joined a gym and I do Zumba. It is so much fun!
Only 2 weeks and 1 day until Christmas leave! Navy Hugss to all ~ Vicky
