Good evening ladies (and gentleman),
I'm here to post a friendly reminder for next Sunday's M&G. I look forward to meeting those of you who can make it, and for those of you with other plans, I look forward to seeing you at some point in 2010. If you're interested in attending but not sure you'll be able, please just drop me a note and I'll get the location details to you. If you're not able to be there, no worries, but I'd rather you have the information to be able to join us if your weekend can accomodate.

On a side note, I did a scan of the history of posts in this group and added the information I found to the PIR Tips and Advice discussion above. There's some great information from the last couple of years. Hoping this helps a mom who hasn't yet experienced the wonder of PIR to have an even more incredible visit.

While doing this, I read some fantastic posts and tip my hat to Jody G for my all time (so far) favorite. It's a post that responds to a mom whose son was going to be deployed and away from his family. Jody describes her son's pre-deployment preparations, including recording a video for his daughters of him reading them their favorite book. Definitely tugs at the heart strings! (Thanks, Jody!).

Good night!

Good morning No. Cal. Moms,
I hope you all have a great Sunday. Grandchildren are wonderful. But I wouldn't presser my children to give me any more. Raising children is a big responsibility and they shouldn't have them until they are ready. ~ Vicky

Debbie J.
Our Sharon works with a wonderful caterer. Her company provided the food for the opening of the Napa office, of real estate company I am associated with. I'll ask her tomorrow when I see her.
Also in Napa, Melissa Teaff Catering

I have not used her in years but a lot of realtors in San Mateo and north still use her.

Jody, your husband's handiness would have been really appreciated on putting together the shelving. Had to paid for a helper's assistance.

You are all just to funny! My daughter started the babiues before the wedding. That is in May. Grandbabies are the reason people become parents. All the hard stuff is off your plate and all you get is the dessert. Or maybe it's just that I am a little older and I don't have time to sweat over the small stuff anymore? In any case, Grandbabies are wonderful!

Mine can cook, has all her own cookware - and her car is paid off, no pets though.
