Nancy, I am posting this here because you may not have gotten my pm. We will be having Thanksgiving in San Jose (Alum Rock and 680). If you like us to bring you Thanksgiving dinner, please let me know. it will be no trouble at all.

Mich and Kathy A are both going to PIR next week. Somewhere I read a post about where to sit (something about last row of first level and left of some sign) and prearranged special signal to let their sailor know where in the stand the LOs are located. If those who just got back remember anything special ....

Raylene! :)) ahhh. that is so sweet. Go the the Summary of Events above. click on Oct 25. You'll see photo of the meet and greet at my house. See all the husbands. Thanks for doing the 25th. Will give you details later on. I am putting together a little list of items to post with the summary of events. My husband and I are getting excited about seeing our sailor too in 11 days. I am working furiously to get the house in order. Goodnight - talk tomorrow.

Cindy,
Click HERE. Scroll to the bottom of the page, you'll find three links to "flyers", "contact cards" and "name tags". There are six editable pdf files for flyers. You can edit but you can not save the pdf files with new data (if you have a program that will create a pdf file, you can save it in new pdf file).
Paula, tell your husband I had emergency gall bladder removal too. For years, I thought I just had bad Mexican or Chinese food. I would get these attacks but they would go away as soon as I have this strong Chinese tea (which they don't sell anymore), then the last time ....
Well, Monica, Cindy and ya'all are going to be such computer teckies :0 LOL
Raylene, are you down for April 25 for M&G? Please.

Hello everyone,
Just a quick Hi! and I look forward to seeing everyone who can make it to our M&G on the 6th. I'll get location details and directions to everyone who will or might attend. If you don't receive anything in the next couple of days please send a message to me from my page and I'll get you everything. I'm checking with the local recruiting office to see if they'll post a flyer and let others who might be interested know about the M&G and our group. I found there are some flyers in the "meeting kit" link that shows up if you hold your mouse pointer over the "event" link at the top of the page. There's actually quite a selection to choose from.

It looks like our sailor won't make it home over the holidays, and I wonder if any of you have ideas of things I could do or send him. Anything that you've done or heard of that you recommend?

Raylene- I think we're probably neighbors, I live in the Vintage Park neighborhood -- anywhere close to you?

Christine, you're so close! I'm getting my sailor home for Christmas also - can't wait!

Hey Raylene, Vickie & Tee-1. I'm in Woodland, so we're all pretty close to each other. I won't be able to go to the 12/6 M&G, I have merit badge saturday for boy scouts on 12/5, my office Christmas dinner/party same evening, I have to get my house clean sometime before my son comes home from A school so I'll probably be cleaning on 12/6. I can't believe the holidays are upon us already. My first Thanksgiving with Chrstian away from home, the first of many I'm sure. I'm o.k. because he'll be home for Christmas but next year maybe an entire different story. His A school is in GL and he has some friends that they plan to spend the day together, watch football, eat, hang out, enjoy the day, for that I'm thankful. God blessings to all our families. While our sailors may not be home physically, they are always home in our hearts.

Hi Raylene - we're in Dixon, not far from Sacramento. We're having another M&G on 12/6 in So. Sac. It's on the home page.

I spoke with our son yesterday. Next time, I'll drop a few hints. "Oh, the TV is your room is on the brinks again. TrekkieDad mentioned his son was getting them a plasma TV for Xmas. Is it a really good deal if you buy it in Guam? or maybe the NX?" Thanks for the heads up, TrekkieDad.

That's great TrekkieDad, that he'll get to be home for Christmas. He love you and wants to do something nice for you too. I'm very excited to see my B for the holidays!!!
