Hi all! I've been gone for a while. You have been busy. Thank you Bea - the organization is a wonderful help. I have planned to talk with the local recruiter's to see how they would suggest that we can better connect with families. I'm sure that there are a lot of them - they just don't know about us. I am thinking that I can produce a flyer to let them know about the M&G's. That way we are 'visible'. I'll see what I can do. I do think that the best time for me to host will be summer when folks do not have to worry about the weather. August is probably best for me - with my calendar as it is. We have a great yard - and Nevada City is a fun town to spend a couple of hours in. We will see what I can accomplish. Keep up the awesome connection! Susan

Monica, I imagine your body language is something to behold or hold depending on one's dexterity. It's only fitting that you offer yourself up as an organizer or host of one of the Meet and Greets for Santa Clara County - how about July?
Noe, how was PIR? took lots of photos? while I have your attention, how about being organizer for East Bay MG like Aug 14 or there abouts?
Meilin, thank God I don't have to take my glasses off and put my nose up to the screen anymore to determine if I have typed one "n" or three and one "y" or three. Now, marieeeeeee
All this talk about body parts is wearing me out - I am going to take a nap.

Hello everyone!
I've added an event for a Sacramento Meet & Greet on Sunday, December 6th. It will include lunch, and families are welcome. Vickie and I are hosting, and will share additional details soon. For now, we just hope you can add this event to your calendar and join us!

Bea - your direction and guidance is greatly appreciated, including your help with posting and sharing information about the event on the site. Thanks!!!

And...Bea, congrats to your son for earning his dolphins!

TENTATIVE 2010 Master Calendar for Meet & Greet Events
In review of the distribution of members in various regions for the purposes of planning our Meet & Greets for 2010, I have found that we have the most members in the Sacramento area, followed by Santa Clara County, then East Bay, then San Francisco/San Mateo and finally Marin North. I have tentatively set 18 as a target number of MGs from Jan '10 through Dec '10 with the following distribution: Sacramento (5), Santa Clara County (4), East Bay (3), San Francisco/San Mateo (3) and Marin North (3).
I am sending you two files in PDF format. The files are in EXCEL, in case anyone would like to create an alternative calendar or would like the file to create a personalized version. My personal version has other important dates (anniversaries, birthdays, etc). I have it up on the refrigerator door.
THIS IS TENTATIVE. FINAL VERSION - DEC 1. I am sure many of the dates will be changed. Suggestions and recommendations welcomed - but not format of calendar unless you want to take over.

Good night - gotta go watch Project Runway. Bea

Bea, My 13 year old told me that I was old, I said that " I prefer the term middle-aged" She said "that is what old people say when they don't want to admit that they are old". Lol
