Thanks for coming over for a visit on Saturday, Vicky. I really enjoyed hearing about your girls and getting to know you better.

Finished a quilt for my youngest grandson to take to day care.  I had made a quilt for him when he was born, but there were so many scrapes left I felt like I had more than enough to make another quilt.  So I did.  I used up all my mistake blocks and the left over scrapes.  I figure it would be a great quilt for him to take to daycare when he goes, its one of a kind and I worked in his name when quilting it.  Lets see someone take this quilt!

Oh sounds good. Rachael, I'll be leaving in a few mintues.

And Jody, Seven should be on the month of July , of course.

Cookies sound good, too. I have done that at Christmas time, you bring a dozen cookies and go home with a variety.

I made a Candy Bar Pie, Jody.

Rachael...Do tell what kind of pies you have!  I have a house full of sickies.

Have a photo shot with the dog today.  She is going to be a calendar girl:)  My hospice group is doing a fundraiser to raise money to help with our program.  I am not sure which month Seven will be, but I am sure I will let you all know when the calendar comes out.

I still really like the idea of a Pie Meet and Greet and hope we can still do one in the further when more can make it.  Or maybe we could do a cookie meet and greet and the could all take cookies home?

Have a blast - a bite from each pie. I sure wish that I could be with you all. I am praying for all of you as your travel, share and comfort one another.

We have our VIM (Volunteers In Mission) team today and tomorrow. Sunday afternoon the Car-A-Vanner's come (five RV's) to work for five days. It will be an amazing time of transformation!

Hello ladies..I can't believe how quickly time passed. It feels like just last week when we met many of you at the Spaghetti Factory m&g in Rancho. What was that 2009? Our sailor is in jacksonville (Mayport) Florida eagerly anticipating the next deployment, and will be reenlisting a bit early...he's making arrangements for his dad to do it when we are there visiting on vacation. We do miss him, but the Navy has offered him opportunities he would not have found anywhere else and it's been an awesome experience. Pardon a moment of boasting...hIs ship just earned the Battle E, he received a Navy Achievement Medal and he tested for 2nd class...fingers crossed! I'm looking forward to meeting you all again, hoping sometime this summer I can make it to an event.
