Terri....Welcome to our corner or the world. Hang on because it can be a wild ride. Hope you can keep June 28th open. We are planning our second get together and everyone is welcome.

If you need something just speak up.

Got to ask do you live in old Lincoln proper or in the newer part of Lincoln?

Ginger...Sometimes its all about the timing. The last mothers day I spent with my son, was in Virginia. I was there for a conference and he came down from the academy to meet up with me for the weekend. Once in awhile things go mom's way!

Enjoy your time with you son. Hope you manage to get a family portrait while he's home?

Looking forward to seeing lots on picutres of him next month when we get together.

Ginger....Yes you did. I remember the last mothers day I had with just my son. It was in 2000 and the memory is still fresh in my mind.

How long is your son home for?

All....Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's day. I got a call very late last night from my son. I guess they had been out on patrol and got back late. He was the last one to call in his group. He wanted to make sure that all his men got a chance to call their mom's and wives first before he did. I am so very proud of him! He is counting the days until he returns stateside this summer.

Looking forward to getting together with all of you on Sunday, June 28th.

We made it home safe and sound from Bodega Bay. If you are interested we rented Whales Tail (the bottom level of a house). 2bdrms, 1 bath; right on the water. Very relaxing. Fort Ross was very WET! But, well worth the drive. Check it out on line. The sailor son is now half my age as on Saturday. I'm greatful for cell phones, at least you can hear their voices when you leave a mesage. Have a great week everybody~s

Ladies....The picture did turn out great! I usually don't like pictures of myself, but in that one I look good! I should have tipped the waiter more.

Looking forward to getting together in June with all of you and anyone else that would like to join us!

Sounds like I missed a great get together. Please add me to the list for next time and I'll make sure that I don't let, work/kids/husband get in the way.
