Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by tallmama on February 5, 2013 at 11:09am: Good morning Tee. I check in on all of you and read daily but don't post much. My sailor is on a long deployment and I'm missing her pretty aweful. I get emails fairly regularly and thankfully a few calls since she has been gone but I don't expect her back in the U S Of A until maybe May. I don't know how my mom did this years ago when my dad was in Vietnam. She was a heck of a woman. I hope everyone is doing well today. For those who are sick, I hope you feel better soon. For those if us who are down, we will get back up again. Keep on keep in' on.

I don't cry in front of him I tell him we r proud of him and he is going to have a great adventure in the navy. I am really gonna miss him....
