Well friends, it looks like I'll be filing for disability soon, my vision has gotten to the point where it's just too hard to work.  I'm even having trouble getting around in my own house.  Wish me luck with the SS system!

Yes, the "how many days until I get to see him" is the red letter day for sure.

Paymaster, you hit the calendar stuff just right. We are always counting time based on our children.

Good morning, Paymaster. I think how many days till I get a telephone call when your sailor is on deployment and gone for months and months and months.....
Comment by Paymaster on February 3, 2013 at 11:09am

Shelly and Sutton...You will learn a new calendar in the Navy.  You will now tell time by how many days til they leave, how many days til graduation ( this will happen more than once).  How many days til deployment.  How many days til they arrive back in the USA and how may days til I get to see them.

Did I forget any ladies?

shellybrass welcome to our group.  Wish I would have checked in here earlier today as several of us where together in Grass Valley.

Please let us know what we can do to help you with your transition to Navy Mom?  Please just ask your questions and someone here will know the answer.

Sounds like we are in need of getting together to welcome our new members.  I know we have talked about getting together at Azetec's in Roseville.  Ladies let me know what day works for you to meet and I will post it.

Welcome shellybrass - I'm in Nevada City. Our Blue Star Mom's meet at Paulett's on the last Saturday of every month @ 10 am. Please feel free to come. If I can make the next Meet & Greet (M&G), I'd be happy to give you a ride.

We are all here to help one another, and if you have questions, please ask away. Lots of fun, laughter, tears {{N4M}} hugs and of course the famouns N4M dance (usually happens with tears and in a bathrobe as we celebrate our sailors).

Hey Tee, so sorry to read about your back. Praying that you are mending, and taking the rest that you need.

Welcome to our new members!!

Sorry I've been scarce lately, I hurt my back and was down for a few days, then I stepped on the cat, tripped and fell, thus hurting myself again!  All is well now.

I'm sure the day fabric shopping will be so much fun!
