DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to our newbees!

I want to explain my lack of activity and apologize. I have a health related issue that has taken a lot of my attention. In addition to that, my job is rather consuming.

Danny and his best friend rebuilt a jeep for Thom's wife's former boss. As a thank you, the couple have invited us to their time share in Hawaii for ten days. Thus, I am trying to get all of my work done before we leave and for the Sunday we return. Thus, I am working like crazy trying to get bulletins, sermons and the books for the Academy all taken care of so that I can truly enjoy this first vacation a decades. When I say that, we have taken a few days to visit our sailor and his family and helped them on their home. But, this will be time un-plugged. All expenses have been paid except for our food!! What a gift, and blessing.

I promise to be back, and participating after Easter - when hopefully things will settle down in my little world. I am praying for each of you and your sailors. I am trying to read and keep up. For those of you with new sailors, please ask your questions, vent your frustrations, and know that this is a GREAT place to be.

Thanks girl-friends for understanding. I miss you each! ~s~

Hi all, miss you. Son on deployment # 2. I'm still working but probably not longer than June. Hope all is well with you and your sailors.
