tlcmajic welcome to our group.

Tee...For the parade I took care of checking in the vendors and VIPs.  Then helping with the radio and helping dispatch people to where they were needed.  You are more than welcome to any of my spare time.  I am not a TV watcher and couldn't tell you what shows are on TV.  I like staying busy, so my evenings after work are full of things to do every evening.  There are not many night when I have nothing to do:)

Alison..I cheat.  I post the picture to my page with what I want to say.  Once the picture poste I copy it to here.  I am sure there is a better way to do it, but this works for me.

Blankets and burp clothes

This is what I have been doing in my spare time. This has been my personal christmas project. I was able to make and donation 35 revieving blankets and 42 burp clothes to the local women's shelter that helps young mothers with children. Hope I am able to do as many and perhaps a few more next year.

The parade was great.   It was only 36 degrees out when I arrived at the parade route this morning (before the break of dawn).  It was a very busy morning with all the things to do to put a parade on.  But it all came together.

It was wonderful to see all the families come out to honor Veterans day!

Hope you all heard from your loved ones!  Happy Veteran's day.

It was nice to see you all yesterday. I got soem bad news this morning; Chrissy did not get her cross-deck approved. Poor kid has such bad luck in that area. Good news is that she will be home for a visit just before Christmas then take her son back with her on Christmas eve. I don't know hwy she choose to travel on Christmas eve, I learned not to ask,

Ladies, so sorry I missed the M & G. We were on our way back from a trip that enabled us to see our DS in Kingsville. There is nothing like a hug from our children. Also was able to meet the girlfriend. Nce young lady.
Paymaster, what time is the parade?
I also want to share that on our Southwest flight home, the flight attendant wad asking people to write messages to our troops. She was handing out a form to write on. It was very nice.
Be well everyone!
