Welcome ouranchorsaway. As Paymaster said, feel free to ask questions. Keep your chin up and be supportive. That is all any of us can do.
OK Ladies... I need some information. My daughter is still in school in Pensacola and informed me last week she is getting married in October (to another Sailor in school with her) Prior to graduation and receiving orders. Happy and Concerned. They are planning a civil ceremony, will the Navy recognize it and station them together? They are planning on going to C school in WA or VA since they cannot be in school together if they are married and these are the only locations for their rate that have 2 schools within close proximity of each other. I am thinking they will actually see less of each other since they cannot have ship duty at the same time.
I have a whole bunch more greay hair ---- what is a mom to do?
Welcome ouranchorsaway...You are doing all the right things, writing and being supportive. Please feel free to ask questions here, one of these lovely ladies will know the answer and they are always more than happy to help.
Again welcome.
Well all my children are under one roof, just not mind. They are all hanging out at Navy son's place. They are having a great time. Wish we could be there with them.
So Jody, are we on for Saturday, the 8th? Mirabella's. What time? I may go see my grandson that day too.
Alaina....So how were the hugs?
I was looking forward to meeting you all but cant make the Sept 8th date. Hope to make the next one, though.
Oh geez...sorry for the typos!
Hey! "The box" came later yesterday! First the form letter int he morning mail then the box in the afternoon! I wasn't expecting see get them both the same day! I just left it on the counter until my husband came home (he works swing). I have to say I did more laughing than feeling sad when we opened it. Typical Nick, candy/gum wrappers in his pans pockets, belt still looped to his jeans, of course they were inside out - as well as every other item of clothing, phone charger and ear buds one big tangled mess lol. The dog however, had a blast with the little plastic basketball that he and his MEPs roommate got at Dave & Busters ;o)
