Just back in town from a lovely 9 days up on the Oregon coast.

Welcome you new mom's.  Welcome back those that haven't posted in awhile. And hugs to the rest of you.

Ok, so does anyone want to get together the weekend after Labor day?  I could break away for a quick dessert.

As for me Navy son has returned to SD.  Thrilled as this will be a long assignment.  Yeah, he is on the west coast once again!

Well, she enjoyed having Aidan in VA for the summer so much that she wants to have him there again for Christmas. But she may come out here two weeks before for her grandma's 80th birthday party.

Congrats to those that are getting visits from their sailor and good luck to you Kellee on surviving the next few weeks. Summer is going to fast and it's nearing the 3 month mark before my son leaves for RTC.

Has anyone ever volunteered at Fleet Week in SF?  I'm thinking about it.

Welcome Jane. What is your sailor going to do??

Kindergarden Tee - yea. Owen started the 7th grade this week. Guess that is a true testament to my white hair!!

We go to up to visit the sailor and his family on the 19th will be gone a week. Brianna's surgery for her cleft pallet is on the 28th.

Father in-law is home.

If anyone wants to come up - on the 29th of September we will be celebrating the 160th birthday of the Downieville United Methodist Church. Starts at noon. Very excited - lots of work happening.

Thinking of all of you and holding your sailors in my prayers.

Thought I'd pop in and say "HI" since I've been away from the group for a bit.  It's my grandson't first day of Kindergarden...the fun begins!

I'd probably be up for dessert sometime soon.
