MiaB...I just heard something similar as far as the dinner goes. My sailor will celebrate with his girlfriend and another friend still based in Rhode Island. We will visit our son on his new campus before classes start!

Good wishes to all!

Thanks for being here!

As a parent, the graduation dinner was great.  Good food, awards, and a slide show of the whole experience.  First time I saw my son in his OC white uniform.  We live only 500 miles for Newport, so we were able to find cheap flights.

Mia,  my  son said that there was a dinner, but not for us to come since we are in Montana and it wasn't that big of a deal.   One parent said it was very nice to meet everyone and such.   It was my son's 21'st birthday so I think he had other things on his mind....lol

We are all proud of your son, regardless of the path he takes in the Navy.

oh no Dolphin!  I'm so sorry to hear that.  I would have thought that they'd measure him the same as before.

Good things will happen  -  we know that he has a good head on his shoulders, he made it through a tough selection process - other doors will open for him.   I'll join you in prayer for a miracle!  Please keep us updated.   N4M hugs sent your way.
