DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Hi Melody, My son is in class 0833 but the Chaplain who is on here said that very few parents go to A school grad. The big grad. ceremony is after Power School. Are you planning on going? I wonder if we made a mistake by not going. Pat
Melody: I can't go to grad from A-School; we've already talked, please give my son a huge hug for me if you go and at Tgiving too...........I miss him sooooo much.. Jane
Jane - at one time I thought C. was going to come home for Thanksgiving. It doesn't sound like it. Is he going to get home at Christmas? We are so looking forward to going - not only getting to see him, but just having a nice leisurely trip. We are leaving here (Mississippi) Friday when I get out off school, Our reservations at Goose Creek start Tuesday. At of this time, we still are not sure what we are doing with my mother in law, which is a big concern. She lives by herself near us, but she is 88. We are not comfortable leaving her here on her own, but not sure how well she would do on the trip. She says she want to go when we go somewhere, but once we're there, she's ready to come home. Last year, we took her to Virginia over Thanksgiving to visit with her family, but we had barely gotten there, and she was ready to come back. Hopefully, my sister in law will come from Indiana and stay with her, or we may meet halfway (in Nashville) and trade her off for a couple weeks. Oh, well - there is always something. Let me know how things are going with C. You can PM if you want. Are you hearing from him any more frequently?? Anxious to hear from you. We are not going to the A-school grad since we are going Turkey day, but was hoping someone would take a picture if they are going. I don't know if they (Navy) normally take a picture when the are receiving their certifcate on not. Melody
