It sounds like many of us are planning a trip this summer. I thought it may be fun and helpful to post dates and ideas here. Maybe if some of us will be there at the same time we can meet for a quick cup of coffee.

That sounds like fun!  My son graduates from Power School June 17 and we are staying at the Villas.
That's my anniversary!  Have fun and I so wish I were going.  Enjoy your sailor

Sounds great to meet some moms!!  I plan to fly into Charleston on 6/14.  My sailor grads power school 6/17 (fingers crossed nothing unusual happens).  He is putting in a request for leave the following week so if it is approved, we will drive back home on Sunday 6/19 (Father's Day).

He's got lots and lots of things he wants me to do while there!  I know he'll be busy part of the time, so while he's not available, my DIL and I can have some fun together.

Hi.  I am planning on going around the August 12 date for the Power School graduation.
My husband and I plan to go out around August 12th for the Power School graduation too.
Great info, thanks Gina!

Hi Gina,

Thank you for the info. If I google GC Villas I don't get a phone number. Can you help? Grateful,  Brenda

Your son/daughter must book the villas...the only pics I've seen are on this sight.
We will be up in June to visit youngest and to watch middle daughter during the Spoletto Festival. Should be fun.

What is the Spoletto Festival?

Spoleto is the big arts festival that runs May 26- June 12 (or there abouts). They bring in music, theater and dance from all over the world. Charlesto Ballet will hold several special performances, including their "Brown Bag" series at lunchtime in the studio (middle daughter dances there). We will be back the end of the month for A school graduation. I think the website is

www.spolettousa.org

If you are there then, there is a LOT gong on.

the website you posted doesn't work (too many tt's)

the correct one is:  www.spoletousa.org

Thanks!
