Hi all. :)
I know I saw a few moms out there today who mentioned their sons were in class 1101 starting in November. It'll be here before we know it!
For those of you who don't know, I'm Aaron's girlfriend. He's an EM who graduated A school in September. :)
I can't wait to get to know all of you, and hopefully meet you all in April! :)

On the issue of hold, there was a little mix up. Some sailors names weren't on any of the 3 options so they are technically on "hold" until the people in charge figure out where to put them. Ask your sailor if he was specifically told he was on hold or if he is in limbo. I'm not sure when they'll find out for sure what they are. It happened to one of the girlfriends on here (emily, it was haley).

Also, my fiance stressed the point to me that their assignment isn't 100% (I get really excited about things) and, especially with the mix-up, things could change. He told me it wasn't likely but just be prepared for anything.

31 DAYS!!!!
Under 30 days yea!!!
I believe its 6 more tests including the dreaded comp!! :)
That's what Eric said last night.
I was telling my friend here at work that I didn't know if I was more excited to see my son or spending alone time with my husband for two days in Charleston before the rest of the clan flew in.
We're getting so close to April! I'll probably get to help Aaron move into his apartment.. And I'll be there a day before his family, so we'll get a little quality time together before he has to worry about making everybody happy. After 4 months, I can't WAIT to get that first hug.
I just found out that my son finally got a roommate since starting power school!! He doesn't get along with him! The new roommate is very inconsiderate--comes in drunk (is of age) with friend and is very loud when Ben is watching movies or talking on the computer (wears headphones) or trying to sleep.  The new roommate is on T-Track waiting to go into power school! Any suggestions?

Ouch. Sounds like my fiance's roommate through a-school. I wouldn't be surprised if it were the same guy. (is he from New York originally?)

Like one of the other mom's suggested on the main page, see if his SLPO can do anything. Probably not. There is the housing office, they'd do anything if anything could be done. I think it's the "fleet and families" office. Otherwise, try to stick it out for 3 more weeks? Or just be as rude and inconsiderate back, see if he gets a taste of his own medicine. Or just yell at him about all the things he does, right in front of his friend too. Scare him a bit.

Well, he sorta did that and the guy had watch the next day! Yea only about 3 weeks but then he is on hold and for how long nobody knows!!  He'll more than likely just suck it up like usual...
Dang. I swear that's my fiance's old roommate.

Well its only a few more weeks! They should have put him with someone else!!! He said to his girlfriend that he wishes he could have his A-school roommate!  Oh well you can't have everything!!
