Hi all. :)
I know I saw a few moms out there today who mentioned their sons were in class 1101 starting in November. It'll be here before we know it!
For those of you who don't know, I'm Aaron's girlfriend. He's an EM who graduated A school in September. :)
I can't wait to get to know all of you, and hopefully meet you all in April! :)

3 more tests (including comp!)!!!! :) :) :)

And only two more weeks until I'm doing last minute packing and getting on that plane!!

Has anyone received their invitation yet?  If so, when?
Not yet... I keep forgetting about that! I bet it'll come sometime this week. :)
14 days ladies!!!!

Aaron did not have a good night last night...
He's super worried about their test today, stressed out by comp, and trying to figure out how is financial situation is going to work out... especially if the stupid government fails to pay him!! He has everything budgeted out, but without the money, none of his payments can come out. Not to mention, that he'll have to move out of the barracks before graduation... If the government doesn't pay him, especially his relocation money, this could become a major problem.... And to add to it, he had his prototype brief yesterday and apparently the SLPOs came in and scared the crap out of all of them just like bootcamp all over again..

Sorry, just had to rant. I'm sure everything will all work out. He's just been super stressed and it meant a sleepless night for me...

Fingers crossed for everybody's sailors today with the tests. :)

Navy Federal has stated that they will cover everyones April 15th checks.  A friend of mine read that online.  So, hopefully that will ease Aaron's mind.  Exactly 14 days.  All of our sailors are going to need our support as there is one test after another.  Good luck to all of them.
Since I'll be attending graduation all by my little self I'm wondering if there might be another mom who wants to share a hotel room?  It sure would save $$ and my son doesn't want to stay with me or anything like that so I'll be entirely on my own.
My son called me last Friday and asked who would be attending the graduation, for the 'list' of attendees.  We haven't rec'd our invitations yet either, but we're going.   I wonder if they are sending out invites; maybe they are just going to count on us talking to our sailors.  Treat box being mailed to my son today, some sustenance to get him through the last week.
I know that I can be classified as a "worry wart" but still no invite in the mail.  Just wondering if anyone has gotten it yet or should I just relax and consider that it's the Navy.
No invitation yet!  Looking everyday.

I keep checking too... None yet.

In 2 short weeks our sailors will be Power School graduates. :) :) :)

I know mine is ready.  He sounds so tired lately.
