Hi all. :)
I know I saw a few moms out there today who mentioned their sons were in class 1101 starting in November. It'll be here before we know it!
For those of you who don't know, I'm Aaron's girlfriend. He's an EM who graduated A school in September. :)
I can't wait to get to know all of you, and hopefully meet you all in April! :)

Does anyone else feel like this is surreal? Like there's no possible way that they can be taking Power School Comps today.

Time goes by so quickly..

I keep thinking about seeing him tomorrow, but even that seems surreal. I don't think anyone of this is going to hit me until I'm in his arms at the airport!

Before I forget - Thank you Emily for starting this site.  It has been a good support system for us.

Yes, it does seem surreal.  I'm not sure if time went quicker for us than them but i think so.  I know Scott is soooo happy to be done with this part.

Everyone have a safe trip.

See you in Charleston!

Pins & needles...my son isn't feeling good about the way the test went...surely they all feel that way?

Aaron said "not horrible but we'll see"

I'm pretty sure he passed. :)

Apparently it's not very easy to fail... I kind of look at it like my Calculus class. Her homework is detailed and takes forever. Her quizzes are less detailed, but still pretty hard. Her tests are easy because they're not as detailed. And the exams are simple because she has so much to test, she has to cut back and just make sure you know the basics. :)

Their tests are usually 3 hours.. and this one was only 4. So, it was probably a lot less detailed than what they're used to. :)

Not fact, just my opinion. :)

Nathan called.  Said he if cautiously optimistic about the test.  Can't wait to hear from him around 6:30 today when the results are posted.  Good luck to everyone's sailors.

WOW...just talked to Chase.  He wasn't feeling good about the test.  Doesn't have a feeling either way but seemed pretty freaked out and worried that if he didn't pass they are not allowed to leave base and will have 30 5's and will retake next Wed.  They won't be able to graduate this week and was worried that we spent all the money to fly out for nothing.  Couldn't say or uplift him this morning.  I think that was the first time I've ever heard panic in his voice.  He said that was literally the hardest exam he has ever taken and didn't get all the questions answered.  Ran out of time and ended up leaving 2 questions blank.  I asked how everyone else's take was and they felt the same.  Said there were 4-5 in his class that got done early and got up and left.  He said they are the norm's that never put in extra study and score pretty high.  The brillant ones he says.  I'm so worried and at loss of words on how to comfort our son.  I hope our power of prayer and the knowledge his his head will soon give us a great phone call.

Worried & hurting mom here....

Janiece

I know, I'm sick to my stomach.  Our son has passed all the tests, but may oft 'overthink' questions.  I haven't shared this w/ my husband, as I don't want anyone else to be worried over this, but the hours can't pass quick enough!

I have to try to keep busy so I don't wory too much.  My hubby is taking me out to supper for my birthday so that will help.  I have some shelves I need to sort through. Good luck to all and fingers crossed and prayers said!

Nick said he felt good about it when he was taking it, but now he is second guessing himself after talking to the other guys.  I can't wait until they find out their grade!!! This day has been soooo long!  I've been thinking about all of them all day.
Hope you guys are just getting in good news like I am!! PASSED!! NY here we come!

Yay!!!!

I love to hear the good news all around!! :)

Thumbs up....passed!
