Hi everyone, opening this discussion for others that are having their sailors starting Power School this week and part of Class 1105.  Mine is going to be in section 11 and I am sure there are many others of you whose sailors are starting class this coming week as well.

my son class 1105 section 4 (power school)

anyone have a loved one in that class too?

I really thought I posted on here when the power school started back in June, but maybe it was just responding to Pamela or Penny.  I know I've contacted you Ginny.  My sailor is MM and 1105-7.  Grad BC Jan.7-'11  and A school April 22-'11.  He started Power with the rest of your sailors on June 23, and says Graduation is Dec 2.  I asked that he check out the availability of the Villas.  Would be great if we all could meet in December.
That would be great, MN Mom, to all be at the villas for December 2 graduation.  I'll have to get my son onto reserving that for us as well.  I know another mom (hikermom) whose son is also in section 7 and is from California.
That is is good idea although it might be hard to get my son to do that for me.  How much do the Villas cost?  Since I'm the only one that will be attending my son's graduation I thought they were for multiple people.  Regardless, I could probably meet you'all there.  Maybe we could plan on meeting December 1, either during the day or evening.  I'm planning on arriving November 30th.  Maybe sooner.

A Meet n' Greet will be held the evening of Thursday Dec. 1 at 7 pm.

I searched Goose Creek for Restaurants & found an Applebee's. The Meet n' Greet will be held here.   The address is 1310 North Main Street, Summerville, SC 29483-7308.

If you message me I'll send you my cell number & email address so we can stay in close touch once we are all in Goose Creek.

Can't wait to meet you all in person.

Please See the discussion of 12/1 Power School Graduation for the meet n' greet.  No longer at Applebee's.

FOR MOMS (and families!!) ATTENDING 12/2 POWER SCHOOL GRADUATION:

We have changed the Meet and Greet from Applebees to:
Andolini's Pizza
6610 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406-4809
(843) 266-7437

Time:  7:00 pm

Excellent reviews and they are a locally owned and operated private business man. They have only one size pizza - 19" and are $14.00 for a cheese pizza and a couple bucks for each additional topping or you can also buy the specialty pies. Thought that depending on how many people are planning to attend, could be a great thing for everybody to buy several and share the price..??!! They said they can put all of us in an area over by the windows with long tables and can house as many as we need - 20 or more.

PLEASE RSVP to pennyndoug@comcast.net or reply here on this posting as to how many in your group so we can have them set up enough space for us. It is possible that our nukes will also be able to join us though none of us really know their schedule for sure!!

Hi Ladies,  hard to believe this Graduation is almost here.  I think we went to this pizza place when we visited in June.  We are driving to Goose Creek.   Our plan is to arrive the afternoon of 12/1.  Since I am not traveling alone, I really will not know until we get there how free I will be the evening of the 1st.  I will email you my contact information Penny so we can be in touch.

MN Mom, I'll look forward to hearing from you.  I can be reached on my cell at 206 909-7507, texting or email at pennyndoug@comcast.net.

Ginny, are you in GC for the graduation this Friday, Ginny?
