whew......Widow Maker DONE and PASSED......thank God...I have stressed about this damn test all day at work! I need a glass of Wine!
just got a message from my son. 3.70 on it, I'm so relieved.
My sailor was not as lucky. Missed passing by 3/10th of a point. Hoping that on the regrade it will put him over the bar but who knows. Guess they have another challenging in rate test on Fri. These large difficult test seem to be coming faster and faster. Keeping my fingers crossed.
good luck to your sailor...Im sure he will do fine.....and yes another big one on Friday.......luck to all they sailors!
Nearing the end!
Oh ouch, hopefully he'll clear it on regrade. 3/10ths is not a lot. I'll keep my fingers crossed for him.
i too will keep my fingers crossed for your son!! and i will say a little prayer!!
hello all!!
my son passed his test also!! so very proud of all of them!! they are all working so hard!!
My son texted me his score, great as usual. He is lucky he doesn't take after me. I had to study for hours just to get a B. He definately takes after his father. He thinks the in rate 4 exam will be tougher. Let's hope they all do well.
Betsyleebig, I will saying a special prayer for your son. I hope he gets some extra points on regrade. I also hope he does better on the next test to bring his spirits up. I worry about the mental well being of all of them. Wether they are doing well or struggling, they are all under a lot of stress. Thank God they are near the end of this stage. I hear prototype is totally different and many who strugle now, excel in prototype.
Good Luck everyone!
I stand corrected . He missed by 3/100th of a point. It has been a while since I have been using decimals. Wow Shannon he almost got a perfect score. I guess the marks were all over the place. Son told me some of the kids did very poorly but on the other hand I guess some did very well.. I remember reading about one sailor in the power class before us who had to drop out the week before graduation because he couldn't mathematically pass in rate although he had passed the three courses in the first half.. Now I understand. It seems these last weeks they are going to be hit with hard tests worth a lot of points. Keeping by fingers crossed for all of them.
You might ask your sailor how many total points he has already. I think they need 5000 to graduate.
Son callled. Score is ironclad. In terms of points when I ask him how many he just answered lots. But on top of everything he said his week got worse. His section was put on quiet, has to wear their uniforms to study, and have uniform inspection every day. He used terms that I am not familiar with but I think that is what happened in a nut shell. Was going to get a hair cut before he ha d to report tonight. Hope their SLPO doesn't keep them from having time to study for the test FRI.
