For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

My son is there now. He said that he don't start school until January 3rd. He gets to come home for Christmas from December 21st through January 2nd. He also said it is pretty relaxed right now. He's on his computer in the evening and can go to town for things he needs.

Hello,
Travis, my nuke, recieved weekend liberty the weekend he got there because I went to visit. Hehe. If you do go down, I suggest you stay at the foster creek villas super cheap and TAX FREE!!!! They go through phases like phase one is on the weekends they can not drink, and have to be back on base by 0015. Phase two they can wear civies and have no curphew on the weekends. By phase three they can do the same things but they are so close to graduation. Travis goes out to eat during the week nights with his friends, as long as he gets his studying done and doesn't make a fool of himself. He also have a great Chief. I have lots of info. If you want to know anything I am an open book.
