1proudmama, my son is also class 1402.  He is an ET. Talked with him last night. He's having a rough time right now. But he wants to pass and he sounds like he is going to try hard.

cindyb - no worries - the Nuke A School FAQ page should give you all the info you need!  I also "bumped" a couple nuke discussions up above that give some good info....and this can all be found on the nuke mom's page too!

Is there a location that shows what can be brought to A school, such as, are all laptops allowed?

Good advice. I tell my boy same thing too. They have enough pressure on them. No need to be top seeded, your not in a draft. :} My son is an EM 1402 graduating on June 6th from power school. Things are starting to get tough. Class got in trouble for talking and as a whole did very badly on last test with a third failing. Now they can't talk, have to wear uniforms to class etc. not a happy camper right now.

Thanks The boy wonder mom, that's good to know. Since your son and my son have their graduation on the same day, I am going to assume that my son's schedule is similar, if not the same and that he has tests on Tuesdays and sometimes on Fridays. Thanks for the info!

Suebal, I love your comment, "what do you call the person who graduated bottom of their medical class? Doctor!" It made my day. You know when you're preoccupied and some random thing lift you up, well that's what you did, so thank you! My son is in his lasts weeks of power school and the anxiety is showing. It took him a while to accept that a passing grade is a passing grade. I've been telling him that nobody got the time or interest in knowing your scores, so work hard and never doubt yourself. There's a lot of kids around him in the same situation. Congratulations to your amazing sailor, done with school, and now on his boat, blessings for him for a very successful life.
JeffsMom, I'm glad your sailor got the chance to relax a bit, that makes a whole lot of good to their spirits.
Keeping all of our kids in my prayers, for our God to bless them with health and passing scores:)

Oh yeah...one more thing. They can relieve a lot of self-imposed pressure by NOT worrying about having the top score in the class...passing is passing. What do you call the person who graduated bottom of their medical class? Doctor.
