Hi ladies! My husband just left for BC on March 16. PIR date of May 14. We'll be moving to Charleston, SC for A school. Is there anyone in that area now that can tell me a bit about it? Anything is helpful! Thanks! :)

Hello ladies,

I was hoping that someone would be able to let me know the navy's policy on pets in on base housing. My mom wants to get me a dog before my husband and I move, but I'm having trouble finding any information anywhere.

Hi, I'm joining this group for my son's wife. My son is heading to BC on 4/12, and then to GC for the nukes. His wife doesn't have internet in their apartment, so she asked me to join for her so that she can have info as y'all share it. Oh, and she just had their first baby on 21 February! Lots of changes for them...thanks so much for all your comments and information, which is absolutely invaluable!

it depends, if you are doing the self move, in which case he should get leave to come get you it should only be close to 2 weeks, but if you do the goverment move i believe it takes longer, not sure how long.

Hi Everyone! New to the group! We actually just left Charleston because my husband was there for three years as a SPU and got selected for STA-21 so we are now at our college choice for school for three years then we are back in charleston for another round of school there, even though he taught it he still has to go back through as a officer, crazy I know. We lived on base and off base when we were there. Can't wait to talk to some of you!
