Richelle, also if you are going to live on base housing have your husband ask if you can possibly get one of the new 2 story houses they are awesome and if you give housing enough time they should be able to make that work

Richelle, My husband graduated A school on April 1st and I just moved down here last week. The navy is moving all of our stuff and It should  be coming today but it usually takes longer. We got married while he was in A school so they couldnt move my things. He came home for his leave and we drove down here with all my things in my suv. My advice would be to do it where the navy moves everything for you and just get a bed down here so you don't have to sleep on the floor while you wait or just get an air matress until then. When are you moving down here?

I tried the below deal for a wireless printer shipped to Goose Creek - it worked.

The deal expires today - Saturday the 26th - so this is the last day.

William in Nashua Ship 9 Div 071

Deserves all the credit for sharing the below deal.

He wrote:

"If anyone is interested in a nice printer deal, I can recommend a very good Brother MFC-J410W wireless color  printer that you can get for 1/2 price now at officedepot.com it is small, easy to setup and is quiet.  And it  comes with free, overnight delivery.  I bought one myself it works great.  It also is a copier/scanner/fax machine if you want to use it for that.

Add this printer to the cart on sale for $59.99 (regular price is $99.99):

Add this 29 cent eraser to your cart to get the cart over $60 this is what we call a "filler item" Lol:

Add this "$10 off a $50 purchase" coupon code at checkout:  73756055

Your total price will be $50.28 delivered"

As I said above it worked for me to send one to my son and it will be delivered on Thursday this coming week.

For any Nuke Wives or soon to be wives who will be moving to SC to be with your sailor at Naval Weapons Station .. we have a facebook group for all the Wives here in SC.  If any of you have ANY questions feel free to join and ask any of us. I loved talking to the girls before moving down here so I got a feel for how it was going to be once I got here.

hey ladies, question here. My husband who is in week 6 of basic told me on the phone call that the navy would be flying him back here to Oregon and we would drive together to SC after graduation. But today the Navy told me that most likely he will not fly back here, I will fly by myself to Charleston. So which one is it? What did your husband do and which is more likely? Also, if you have a doggy, how did you get it out to SC with you? Mine is pretty nervous and I don't think she'd do good in the plane cargo.

They usually take the sailors to the airpirt around 3 or 4 in the morning by bus or van. Parents/wives have been able to get a pass at security and spend the time at the USO there. Sometimes their flights out don't leave until the afternoon. I've read where most who post on the Nuke Moms page get 5 or 6 hours with their sailor.  Hopefully he will know more about times and which airport by PIR. This group doesn't get much activity, I would suggest you explore  'Nuke Moms', Nuke School Charleston', and ' Loved Ones in the Nuke Program' groups also.

I have another question. My husband said he was flying out on Saturday after graduation, and he wants me to meet him at the airport to give him his phone, how long would I have with him at the airport?
