Marysuemmc - You should join the PIR 12/21 group, if you haven't already. They can answer your question about leave, since everyone in that group is wondering the same thing. Right now we know your sailor will have liberty that weekend meaning your sailor can spend time with you during the day, but must stay on base at night. They are still waiting to see if that group will get leave for the Holiday Stand Down, but there has been no official word as of yet.

my son's PIR (he left 10/22 for boot) is friday 12/21

anybody know what he will "get" for leave( how long etc)

does he even get "holiday leave"?

he will be attending A school at Great Lakes......does that make a difference in leave ?

i have been trying to find info and i guess that it is just that i just don't know where to "look"/who to ask.

i would like to find out asap so that i might begin trying to "plan" travel etc as i will be travelling alone to PIR.......

thank you in advance !!!

Well I finally got the box today and his recruiter gave me his address. He is on Ship 13 /div 042 does anyone else have someone on that Ship.  Also his recruiter said that they had not given him a graduation date PIR date yet is that normal?

My son left on October 24th for BC.  I did receive a call that night saying he arrived safe.  No address yet tho.  His recruiter doesn't have it yet, either.  Any suggestions?
