Hey there Lynn;
I'm happy that Geoff will be coming home. Enjoy every day you have him home, give him a hug for me. I'm not sure when I'll see Bobby next, flights from Norfolk to California are so high, well if it is God's plan, then he'll show up on the porch. Congratulations on 25 years of marriage, that is a milestone and doesn't happen very often now. Bobby passed his test, he is now a Certified Rescue swimmer for his ship. Our little boys, aren't boys anymore they've grown up and become wonderful men.

Hi, So much great information! I have two sons leaving for bootcamp one on Sept 28, 2011 and the other on Oct 1st. Both with Nuke contracts. Does anybody know how the Navy selects the dates? I have two kids going into the same program and they leave 3 days apart?
Trisha=
Things are much better here. I survived tax season, and have heard from my boy at least once a week. He's in Norfolk, and sounds like he's going well. How's your girl doing?

You and father will be my prayers.

How wonderful for you that Drew is home. I'm om SF for the weekend, and survived Tax Season 2010.
Lynn-

Lynn, wow, it sounds like you will be busy for the next year or so. I am not jealous, lol. Of course the way my son and his girlfriend act I wouldn't be surprised if they announced a wedding in the next year, ahhhhh. Where is Geoff deploying to? Funny I have a cousin named Geoff, spelled the same way, that is unusual to meet someone with the same spelling.
My son is a Hospital Corpsman and he seemed to really enjoy school alot, he has clinicals for the next 2 weeks and then he is taking 5 days to come home before he leaves for Virginia. It is sad seeing them grow up, but exciting at the same time watching them make their way in the world.
I hope life treats you well and I enjoy our conversations, keep in touch. Crystal
Lynn--
Congratulations on your 25th anniversary, what a milestone, and I hope that the May date will be a beautiful day for them.
