Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Good morning Ladies! Hey mommaT:thanks for the invitation for a playmate!! I will keep this in mind :) but i know the in-laws are totally set on him staying with them and I know Christopher would absolutely love it!! And, i know if i left him, he'd be sleeping in his own bed, and he'd be well taken care of. So, i am still going back and forth with the idea right now-but i'll be booking my flights monday next week so...i'll keep you posted LOL and yes we are all family now!!!

i asked my hubby and he said he had no clue! but i calculated if he was able to call again in 3 weeks it would be around dec 10th-11th! so, im praying for that already!! ONLY 37 DAYS!! Goodnight ladies!

wow patmac...only 11 days? u will be getting the "IM A SAILOR" call soon :) i hope my hubby gets to make at least one more phone call! hoping he will call around mid december = ) staying positive
