Darna--
The first weekend my guy was gone, I got so much cleaning done, including the gutters. I was so mad at him, for not doing the fall chores, but he had only had two notice to leave. He was scheduled to leave to January 2010.

Time does pass, sometimes slowly, and sometimes so fast its hard to imagine that be's been gone almost a month and that there are only 34 days left to PIR.

Welcome GrippersMom--
I'm glad you are so relieved now. I know that feeling. My guy was a handful too, and the last few days were filled with just worry for me. I am at peace now that he's in BC and appearently doing ok.

Here's the Kleenex, I had to use them this afternoon, but for happy tears, letters were in the mail. Hang in there, and know that we're here for you.

Hi All;
Just got two letters from Bobby, he sounded upbeat. In his first letter, he said he had a cold, and that it was much colder in BC than here in California. He says he now wears glasses, and that he can “see far away now.” He didn’t like the shot in his backside, it was sore for two days. He misses Mexican Food, and has passed his swim test and had no problem with the first run. He also said that the colors are amazing. Like others, he says that “the days go by fast, yet a day feels like a year.”
