Hi Joshasmomma--
The emotional rollercoaster could almost be a real one, the way you are feeling right now. Take heart, it does get better. He will call when he arrives at bootcamp,i it will be short and really fast, but you will know that he is safe. Having my son at BC let me sleep better, I wasn't worried about what kind of trouble was waiting for him. Please ask your questions, one of us moms will answer them as best as we can. Welcome to our group.

Trisha-
When my guy called on the 8th, it was 11:30 PDT, and his call lasted 15 second, he did get in an "I love you", and like you, I couldn't go back to sleep.

Evelyn--
My guy took his cell phone, and kept me up to speed from San Jose to the Chicago Airport. I spoke with him last at 10 pm (PDT) on Thursday the 8th, and he called me from BC at 11:30 on the 8th. If Cassie took her cell, you will be able to talk with her until she gets to Navy Liaison office at the Chicago airport. God Bless.

Thanks so much for your true and inspirational words. I too still check out occassionally, and still need the box of tissue, especially on weekend afternoons.

We received "the real letter" from our son Mike (ship11 Div 020). He says he is doing fine and has already gotten used to the food. He's says he may be in one of the biggest divisions (38 guys 44 gals). Says he passed the medical portion. May take another week or two to be able to test for the seals. He likes his camouflage too.

Good morning Group--
Lynn--
No I haven't made reservations yet, funds are really tight, and I don't have any vacation days yet, I just started working on Sept 3 after 14 months of being unemployed, My vacation will be available on the 2nd or 3rd of December, can't get the supervisor to give me an exact date yet. Miracles DO HAPPEN, so I'm waiting and praying right now.
Have you heard from your guy, other than the form letter?
Dennie--
I'll swing by Wal-Mart tonight on my way home, 1 or 2 skeins?

Hi All;
Wow, seven pages to read since this morning, and we have 98 members now. We really are something special.
Cassie--
Your four-legged friends are really cool, and your description of your last college group meeting was outstanding. Remember to always keep your faith.

Dennie---
Can you give me the pattern and I'll crochet. Any color red or a specific brand and color?

Well, to those who have recently joined our group, WELCOME!!

LindaAJsMom-
I know how you feel, I went through that over the weekend, no "MAAAAAAAAAAA, I'm home, no "I Love You" as the front door closes, no extra dishes to wash. Yeah, I miss my guy too.
