There is a mom I've met through another group that is in PA but really close to Ohio. We've talked about the area a few times. Would it be ok if I contact her and see if she'd be interested in joining??

Karen and Colleen,
It doesn't matter to me where we meet. I'm just looking to meeting up for a fun afternoon visit with other Navy Moms. I may just need directions not knowing too much about the area up there.

Colleen,
It's a small world. My husband also has experience as a project schedular in the nuke plant, Savannah River Site in South Carolina.
If you and Karen and Valerie set up a lunch date I'd love to join you. I go up to Mentor quite a bit to check on our condo that we are trying to sell so going to Madison isn't that much more. I'd love to get to meet you all. Karen and I had lunch together awhile back and I really enjoyed it!!

Colleen,
Yes, that is funny!! What took you up to Geneva? I had a aunt and uncle that lived in Geneva but they both passed away. I think my cousins still live around that area tho'.

Melani,
Steve and I will be there - I'll RSVP on the event.

Eileen,
Sorry you won't be able to meet with us. Maybe next gathering we can do something in the evening so you can join us!

Clockard,
I moved to Stow - about an hour south.

Welcome Clockard! I used to live in Mentor until just a few months ago!!!

Julie,
I always applaud ways to support all our troops - I'm a veteran myself - but aren't we supposed to be wearing red on Fridays? I've been doing that for years!!

Karen,
I like fresh peeps. My daughter likes them either way but microwaved so much that they become totally crunchy!!
