I asked him about coming home for the holidays and he said that if he did that he wouldn't be able to come home after he graduates and gets based. I don't know what I want more. To see him sooner for a week or have to wait another 2 months and see him for 2 weeks..... :-(

My sailor is on hold for c-school. She has been for a little over a month. Her classes are supposed to start on Monday. I have heard that sometimes it is better to keep asking them. You know the squeaky wheel gets the grease. If he keeps asking then they won't forget about him. And I have heard that they do sometimes forget about them. :-( So make a lot of NOISE lol.

Is any one else's sailors on hold for classes? If so, how long have they been on hold. They keep telling my boyfriend it will be for a week every week by they told a guy behind him he would be on hold until the later part of November which would mean I wouldn't be able to see Dustin until mid January. :-( It was originally supposed to be November.

Update: Nathan did not fly home on Monday. They gave him the option of staying long enough to finish and then they are giving him 1 month leave to be with his family. Hi sister, Amber did not make it. She passed away yesterday morning. Nathan had battle stations last night and is supposed to fly home this morning. Hopefully the flights are no longer delayed. Thanks you all so much for your prayers. Please continue to keep all those involved in your prayers.

Everyone please pray for our SR (my daughter's fiancee) and his family. His sister and her husband were in a multi-car accident last night involving 2 tractor-trailers and 9 vehicles. She is in critical condition with serious head injuries and is having some kind of procedure right now. Her husband was taken to a different hospital with broken ribs and a punctured lung. 4 others were killed. Our SR was supposed to have PIR this Friday, he is flying home this afternoon. My daughter is driving home from NAS Oceana today as well. Please pray for everyone involved and safe travels for our SR and our sailor. Thanks
