We sure do Bobbi Ray, it's great hear he is doing so well. It sounds like a lot of our Sailors will be deployed sometime this fall. I am sure they are more ready for than I am lol.

Hey everyone. I hope everyone is doing great. My sailor got promoted to E-4...Yay He was very excited about it. Of course I am the very Proud Navy mom.lol He had his 1st wedding anniversary on May 20th. YAY...He is still in San Diego and he really likes it besides the high cost of living there. He also said something about getting deployed in October. Maybe-I sure hope not but we all know the Navy.lol We learned that really fast at BC Grad. lol. So I now have you all caught up on whats going on with him.

I guess nothing you can be but happy about it lol. My daughter is trying to put in for a rate change. She wants to change to corpsman :-) That is what she really wanted when she went in but it wasn't available and she didn't want to wait. So we shall see.

So sorry for your loss Ruthann. The picture is amazing and I know you are so proud even during this very sad time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I sure do miss all my friends from our PIR group. I can believe 2 years ago we were all just beginning the bootcamp journey. Time sure flies by a lot faster now that they are out of boot camp. My Sailor called today and she gets to go with us on vacation this summer :-) They told them if they were going to take leave to do it now before the first week of July. Also told her to get a gov issued passport. Sounds like some traveling may be in her future. Not sure I am ready for that. How many of you have Sailors who are or have already been deployed?

Hey everyone!  I haven't been on this site in a long time!  I have a question; does anyone know if the JAG can help my sailor with a divorce or annulment?

Any advice would be wonderful!

Thanks!

Lala..the kids are at the Woodshire Apartments.  They are settled and even got a dog, lol.  Just spoke with them.  I reminded Allyson to look you up to get your daughter's info!

Oh lala...love the pics. I am sitting here at JFK after flying out of Norfolk this morning. What a wonderful trip seeing son and wife setting up their new apartment in Virginia Beach. I sure enjoyed the area. I am a little blue but a great time overall! The highlight was the tour our sailor gave us on his ship...very emotional but also made me very proud! I'll remind Allyson to get ahold of you for info on your daughter.
