She had a delaay in pensacola because there was an inch long scratch on the plane that had to be "documented" then the flight from atlanta to charlotte had already left. First they said she would have to stay in a hotel but they were able to get her on another flight. She finally made it to charlotte after 11 pm she spent the night with her brother who lives there. Hopefully she will make home today. Still a 3 hour drive lol.

Lala, sure hope your daughter has made her way home by now. Nobody likes to miss their connector flight and I think it's even a worse feeling for a sailor with limited time for liberty. Hoping you have a wonderful visit!

Yeah, she goes to her first duty station but she also has c-school (both in the same place) now she is stuck in the airport, flight hasn't taken off and she is going to miss her connector flight. She is scared and mad and doesn't know where her bags will end up or what she is supposed to do. Poor Kid.......

Wow Lala...what a happy day! So excited for you. Talking to our son, once he is done w/ATT it should take 2 to 4 weeks to class up at Corry then "210 classroom days" so we still have a long way to go! Enjoy the next 10 days!

My sailor is coming home tomorrow YAY.... My mom, her grandma hasn't seen her since May 23rd. We haven't told her that she is coming home. My dad is going to take her out to eat for a "family" dinner and we will meet them there and once we all sit down Loran will walk to our table in her dress whites... I can't wait to see my moms face :) And I especially can't wait to have my sailor home for 10 days!!!!!!!!
