Today and always I am Thankful that so many choose to give themselves freely to our country in order to protect the freedom of not only their own families but the freedom of complete strangers as well. I am blessed to have two Sailors, my daughter and son-in-law who have made this choice and I love them with all my heart and soul. But I also love all of you and your families who have chosen to protect us as well. Thank you so much for your service to our country whether you are a military service member, retired service member, veteran, or family who stands behind them. God Bless you all and Happy Veterans Day. Lora

Thinking about all our moms who have sailors in Norfolk...earthquakes and hurricanes...yikes! My sailor doesn't check into the base until lst week in October. Knowing him, he is probably sorry he is missing out on all the hoopla!  Prayers for safety!

Jessica:

Love this, I've had chills since reading and that little boy of yours is as cute as a button.

Kim:

My niece is in Virginia Beach and she is coming this week to visit I will ask her and give you a call, her B.F is a firefighter on the base so I can probably get some good places for them to take a look at......

My son is in Japan right now and we have only spoken a couple of times, going out today to get a web cam to put on my computer, my other son has a MAC that we used to skype but I can't figure it out to do on my own.....we just returned from visiting some family in Montana, wow what beautiful country and it's got my husband athinking.......
